Wastewater storage short video
DPV SERVICE Sp. z o.o. deals with the injection of water into rock deposits. Deposit waters are extracted during the operation of crude oil and natural gas. These waters are highly mineralized and contain significant amounts of salt, for this reason draining of such water on the surface and into soil would be harmful to the environment.
A partial solution to the problem of storage is to collect such waters in isolated landfills. However, long-term accumulation of water on the deposit surfaces may have an adverse impact on existing levels of water-bearing shallows. The treatment of these waters is an extremely expensive. Deposit injection of water into voids created after extraction of petroleum and natural gas, is a natural process of placing them there where they were before. This technology is used for many years in Europe and the United States.
DPV Service operates a service of wastewater injection into a natural geological structure formed after extraction of crude oil. This cavern is located at a depth of 1,136 meters below the surface of the earth. It is a remnant of the mining of crude oil and natural gas operation in the Zakęcia in the years 1968-93.
